April 20th will see the world reveal of the new Maserati Ghibli.

The vehicle is likely comparable in size to the Mercedes E-Class and will be built in Turin on a shortened version of the Quattroporte’s steel monocoque chassis.

There seems no doubt this car will be a solid performer and will be offered in RWD and AWD configurations, but rumor has it there may be a diesel engine in the lineup as well.
