This is also the Volvo to be sold without a diesel engine variant for the world market–this is right in line with the recent announcement that all new models from 2019-onward will be electrified.

Speaking of electrification… the 400hp turbo- and super-charged T8 Twin Engine Plug-In Hybrid will be made available in the new S60 (at around $55,000) while the base starts at $35,800 with the 250hp T5. You can become a traditional owner or lessee OR have this via Care by Volvo as well… looking forward to seeing more subscription services in the near future.

Interestingly enough, one item mentioned and detailed with no pricing yet will be available ONLY via Care by Volvo: the S60 T8 eAWD Polestar Engineered.
